Asset Manager
was designed to track key events in the life cycle of a freezer or other asset and answer
the basic question of "Are we getting a return for this piece of
equipment?". The life cycle begins with the initial purchase and ends
with the disposal of the asset. The system provides an easy-to-use interface with powerful
data manipulation and reporting capabilities.
All of the data maintenance screens provide
full edit check validations. The key identifier throughout the system is the asset's
serial number which can be easily accessed through various look up features. The system is
controlled through a series of master data tables which provide significant flexibility
for advanced queries and reports. For example, cross-tabulation reports can be generated
to segment the number of freezers into locations within the store. Another example would
be reporting freezer placements by channel of trade. As shown below, the system is
presented in a simple, uncomplicated manner to facilitate ease-of-use.

System Functions
- Tracks the initial purchase and all subsequent movements of
assets
- Tracks and reports equipment maintenance
- Performs billing (optional)
- Evaluates equipment performance of primary and secondary
placements
- Maintenance functions for all master data tables
- Database import facility of host data
- Standardized and adhoc reporting
- Straight-line depreciation reporting
The system can be implemented on a
standalone PC or Local Area Network (LAN) and will run on any Microsoft Windows
platform.
